About MWT

Founded in 2021, Mental Wealth Today (MWT) aims to raise mental health awareness, decrease the stigma associated with mental health and illnesses, and promote help-seeking and well-being by being a safe space. At MWT, the significance of mental health is explained via visual media such as images and videos, blogs, and purchasable products to build better lives for the millions of people affected by mental illnesses. MWT aims to tell each one that they are not alone in this and there is hope for betterment!

Today, mental health is only starting to get the proper attention in various domains, such as pop culture, media, and public discourse. Although this can be considered a massive global success, individuals and the entire community may suffer when mental health is neglected. Making mental health an entirely socially acceptable means of obtaining wellness, alongside physical health, education, and financial achievement still necessitates much effort.

MWT intends to be a channel for good change, positivity and enhanced mental health awareness in society today in the following ways:

• MWT believes individuals are likely to enhance their lives when given the relevant abilities, information, and resources by understanding what they're undergoing.

• MWT emphasizes action and quantifiable outcomes in the lives of those it strives to assist via free content or purchasable products such as mental health clothing and accessories according to the individual's preferences.

• MWT honours the bravery to create new paths, fill voids, and tackle the most challenging issues in unfavourable circumstances. Therefore, understanding this process is personal and different for everyone.

About Me!

Good day! I'm Alicia Summers, a therapist for mental health in Westminster, Colorado. As a behavioral health expert in the Army Reserves, I assist soldiers in maintaining their mental health while they are engaged in battles and carry out various other duties while serving the nation. I've always had a strong passion for helping others with their mental health issues, and serving as a mental health therapist for the past few years has only strengthened that passion.

As a result of my military service, I have grown passionate about helping others who may suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other expected effects of military service and battles, as I frequently hear from service members who come to me for assistance with their post-service transitioning. Similarly, I offer the same quality mental health support to those outside of the military, as I believe all people are in need of someone to walk with in life, no matter what kind of life they have.

My goal in creating this webpage is to spread as much information as possible and encourage individuals who require assistance to ask for it confidently and eradicate the stigma attached to mental health. Mental health awareness is vital to create a compassionate society!
